June always feels like a transitional month. We are moving into summer, the days are at their longest, and many of us are taking a moment to look back at the first half of the year while planning for the second.

Lately, I’ve been doing some deep reflecting on how I run my business, and I wanted to share something personal with you.

Growing up, I had a mother who was highly narcissistic. Because of that environment, I learned a very survival-driven lesson early on: do everything yourself, because you cannot depend on anyone else. If you don’t ask, you can’t be let down.

For years, that hyper-independence was my superpower. It made me resilient, driven, and capable. But as my business grows, I am realizing that it is also a limitation. True growth doesn’t happen in isolation, and keeping this “I’ll do it all alone” mindset is holding me back from reaching the people I am truly meant to serve.

So, I am actively practicing something new and uncomfortable: I am asking for help.

Right now, my focus for the second half of the year is bringing my message to bigger stages. I am looking to connect with conference organizers, corporate event planners, and association directors who are currently booking speakers for late 2026 and 2027.

If you know someone who plans events, or if you have a favorite conference, you attend every year, would you be open to making an introduction? Even a quick email connecting us or just hitting reply to this newsletter with a name or the title of an event, would mean the world to me.

It takes a village to build something meaningful, and I am incredibly grateful to have you as part of mine.

Thank you for listening, for supporting my journey, and for helping me break an old habit.

With heartfelt thanks!
